Scienze del Territorio: online il vol. 10 n. 1 “Territorio e potere”

È online il volume 10 n. 1 di Scienze del Territorio – “Territorio e potere, una relazione biunivoca“, a cura di Paolo Baldeschi, Luciano De Bonis e Marinella Gisotti – che inaugura per la Rivista la nuova periodicità semestrale. Come sempre, il fascicolo è interamente scaricabile dalla pagina dedicata e dalla home page della Rivista.

Diciotto autori di diversa provenienza, disciplinare e geografica, riflettono e discutono su come i rapporti di potere possano plasmare gli assetti territoriali per esserne a loro volta definiti, come è già avvenuto nella storia e sta di nuovo accadendo proprio in questo momento; nonché sullo stato dell’arte del progetto territorialista, giunto alle soglie dell’importante confronto con la prospettiva ecologista che, sulle pagine della Rivista e nelle aule dei convegni, lo chiamerà ad allargare lo sguardo dall'”ambiente dell’uomo” all’habitat del vivente. Le lacerazioni del tessuto sociale che hanno condotto al contrapporsi di dominio e subalternità, e che già oggi minacciano di convertire il potere nel suo opposto, l’impotenza globale di fronte alle crisi geopolitiche, sanitarie e ambientali, non sono che un caso speciale, un epifenomeno degli strappi ben più profondi operati dall’Antropocene nel tessuto vivente di Gaia: la supremazia sull’altro da noi deve quindi (ri)diventare cura del vivente, in tutte le sue forme, per poterne curare i mali.

Scienze del Territorio Volume 10, no. 1 is online: the issue, the first six-monthly one of the journal, has “Territory and power, a two-way relationship” as its core theme and is edited by Paolo Baldeschi, Luciano De Bonis and Marinella Gisotti. Eighteen authors, with different scientific and geographic backgrounds, reflect and discuss on how power relations can shape territorial structures and be defined in turn by them, as has already happened in history and is happening again right now; as well as on the state of the art of the territorialist project, on the threshold of an important confrontation with the ecological perspective which, on the journal pages and in the conference halls, will call it to broaden its gaze from the “environment of mankind” to the habitat of the living. The tears of social fabric that have led to the opposition of domination and subordination, and which already today threaten to convert power into its opposite, global impotence towards geopolitical, health and environmental crises, are but a special case, an epiphenomenon of much deeper lacerations operated by the Anthropocene in the living fabric of Gaia: therefore, supremacy over the other from us must (re)turn into a form of care for the living, in all its forms, in order to cure its ills.
